Blending period character with a refined contemporary extension, the house offers a calm setting designed with considered styling and composition in mind.
At its heart is a spacious rear extension with vaulted ceiling and skylights, creating an impressive yet intimate kitchen backdrop. The designer DeVOL kitchen is paired with statement marble worktops and high end Bertazzoni appliances, offering a highly photogenic and film friendly space. Carefully curated vignettes, layered textures and natural light make this area particularly well suited to food, lifestyle and interiors shoots.
The kitchen opens directly onto a courtyard garden centred around a characterful ancient pear tree, complemented by HAY outdoor furnishings. The connection between interior and exterior provides visual depth and additional shooting angles.
To the front of the house, the sitting room and dining room are timeless and elevated in feel, furnished with a blend of designer pieces, antiques and curated artwork. Across the two upper floors are three bedrooms, including one with fully panelled walls in a quaint cabin style. The bathroom features a Devon & Devon bathtub alongside an arched shower cubicle with marble detailing, reinforcing the home’s blend of classic and contemporary sensibilities.
With capacity for up to 15 people, access available seven days a week (8am–5pm), and both front and rear entry points, The Flint House is well suited to smaller, design focused productions. The property is quiet, well lit and offers WiFi throughout. On-street parking permits are available.
Additional services include optional in-house catering, such as homemade pizza and salads and styling services at an additional cost, making this a versatile and thoughtfully managed shoot location.
