Set within quiet woodland near Hastings, this contemporary Scandinavian influenced lodge offers a striking, self-contained setting defined by glass, timber and light. Raised on stilts, the single open-plan space is wrapped with a fully glazed front and electrochromic windows, allowing the relationship between interior and landscape to shift throughout the day.

The 49 sqm interior is pared back and architectural, furnished simply and designed as one continuous living, sleeping and kitchen space. Materials are restrained and modern, with a strong emphasis on proportion, light and outlook rather than decoration. A generous deck extends the usable footprint and frames the surrounding trees.

Private access and off-road parking make this a calm, controlled location suited to small crews and design-led shoots.
