Industrial Space with Unique History and Character

About

This industrial location exudes character and natural charm, with a skylighted roof flooding the space with an abundance of natural light.

The warehouse has a fascinating history, with the largest room originally part of the adjacent school, while the rest was divided into smaller industrial units. After being heavily bombed during the war, the entire space was joined under the skylighted roof, preserving the untouched Victorian street that runs through the middle. Over the years, it has been home to a boiler maintenance depot, the Metropolitan Waterboard, and most recently, a car mechanics.

The space features beautifully textured walls, naturally weathered over the past century, and a variety of floors, including parquet and oak boards. Throughout the location, a selection of unique props are displayed, and visitors often describe entering through the unassuming entrance as ‘stumbling upon an Aladdin’s Cave.’
