About

The former workshop of Mander Organs, one of Britains most celebrated pipe organ restorers and builders.

The Organ Factory is situated close to Columbia Road, Hackney City Farm and Broadway Market in Shoreditch. It is situated to the left of the magnificent St Peter's Church in St Peter's Square.

The main building comprises of three main large spaces, the Main Hall, The Mill and the Chapel Studio. Each of these spaces have their own very unique characteristics

Main Hall

Step into the grandeur of the Main Hall, a magnificent space ideal for events and film productions alike. With a total length of over 15m x 9m and a construction height of 4.5m, easy ground floor access, full blackout or daylight, an on-site electric scissor lift, this quiet space is perfect for set builds. The Main Hall has a convenient loading bay with double access doors to the forecourt.

The Hall has an integrated high-powered Bluetooth speaker system, super-fast Wi-Fi internet as well as Ethernet port access to our high-speed optical fibre internet connection. The loading bay can also be used for storage.

The Mill

This large shoot/event space, adorned with original features, offers a unique ambiance. Adorned with exposed brick walls, original Victorian doors, crittal windows and rustic beams, The Mill provides a diverse canvas, with double access doors straight to the forecourt.

The adjoining cocktail bar can be added for an extra touch of charm and functionality for a multitude of event possibilities. The Bar allows for practical or exterior lighting to the Mill via sash windows. The Mill has an integrated high powered Bluetooth speaker system, super-fast Wi-Fi internet as well as Ethernet port access to our high-speed optical fibre internet connection.

Chapel Studio

Ascend to the first floor, where the Neo-Gothic Chapel Studio bathes in natural daylight, creating an ideal setting for photography and film shoots. It's medieval tones, arched windows, intricate detailing, and soaring ceilings with original beams, create an atmosphere of opulence offering a captivating setting. The adjoining Drawing Office, once the school chapel, provides additional space for production or hair and makeup/styling. The Chapel Studio also has an integrated high powered Bluetooth speaker system, super-fast wireless internet as well as Ethernet port access to our high-speed optical fibre internet connection.
